All that we do with our clients serves to educate them to a better understanding of health and vitality. Health is a precious gift. We believe that it is the personal responsibility of each individual to maintain spiritual, mental/emotional, and physical health. When illness is experienced we need to remember that God is the only one who heals according to his perfect plan and purpose. Joanna and I consider ourselves blessed that we are one of the many instruments, chosen to be used by Him according to His perfect will, to help others on their journey to optimal health.
Joanna Prior to becoming a Fully Certified CARE Instructor (FCCI), Joanna received her RN from Mt. Auburn School of Nursing in Cambridge, Mass., passed the New York State Board of Education board requirements, and has worked in various nursing positions in New York and Pennsylvania in hospitals, social services, and as a head nurse in a local nursing home. She also served as a private duty nurse during her career. She is a graduate of The Trinity School of Natural Health where she received her Certificate in Nutritional Counseling (CNC), and completed training in Iridology from The International Institute of Iridology. Joanna is a Certified Natural Health Professional as recognized by The National Association of Certified Natural Health Professionals. She is a Board Certified Raindrop Practitioner (BCRP) by the Natural Therapies Certification Board and a Licensed Spiritual Healer (LSH) issued by The Alliance of Christian Healers Licensing Board.
Mer Prior to October 2009, while working at IBM as a Global Business Controls Analyst for Travel Expense Accounting, Mer was also working part time with his wife Joanna in their natural health care office “One Healthy Life, LLC”. During this time Mer completed training and certification in both, Iridology from The International Institute of Iridology and Kinesiology as a Professional Kinesiology and Touch for Health Practitioner, as recognized by the International Kinesiology College in Zurich Switzerland. Mer also completed training and is a practitioner in the Jaffe-Mellor Technique (JMT) for allergy and autoimmune disorders. In 2007 Mer completed the requirements and training to become a Supervising Certified CARE Instructor (SCCI) with the added certification to instruct and supervise the Chemistry of Essential Oils class as offered by CARE. He has taught CARE classes in the US as well as the Philippines. In 2010 Mer graduated from the Trinity school of Natural Health where he received his Certificate in Nutritional Counseling (CNC) and is currently continuing his education with Trinity for his Doctor of Naturopathy (ND) as well as taking Spanish classes. We are committed to improving our skills as Natural Health Professionals by frequently attending classes and training seminars to advance our knowledge and learn new techniques.
