Essential Oils and Massage (Raindrop Technique)

Essential oils are subtle, volatile liquids distilled from shrubs, flowers, trees, roots, bushes, and seeds.  They are the life force of the plant and are chemically complex, consisting of hundreds of different naturally occurring chemical compounds.  Essential oils have been used medicinally to kill bacteria, fungi, and viruses.  They provide exquisite fragrances to balance mood, lift spirits, dispel negative emotions, and create a romantic atmosphere.  They can support the regeneration of tissue and support nerves.  They can even act to oxygenate and carry nutrients into cells.

The Raindrop Technique (RT) / Massage was developed by Gary Young, ND during the 1980s based on his research with essential oils, and promoted by some fascinating information which he learned from an elder among the Lakota Indian Nation in South Dakota.  Based on the idea, now being explored in a number of scientific studies, many types of spinal misalignments and scoliosis may be caused by bacteria or viruses that lie dormant along the spine.  Pathogens such as these create inflammation, which in turn contorts and disfigures the spinal column.

The Raindrop Technique is a powerful, non-invasive method for enabling the body in correcting defects in the curvature of the spine by providing support from several key essential oils.  Over the years that RT has been practiced, numerous cases of kyphosis, and scoliosis have been resolved through this method of applying essential oils along the spine.  By integrating Vita Flex and massage, the power of these essential oils bring the body into  electrical and structural alignment.
